Chanel Fall Collection 2012

Once more, Karl Lagerfield brought the house down with The Metiers d’ Art Show held in Paris. The Grand Palais was transformed into a fashion feast complete with extravagant banquet (i.e. gold plated cutlery). Guests dined and were served by waiters as they watch the 2012 Pre Fall collection of Chanel.

The French fashion house brought Bombay to Paris with Indian themed clothes in white and gold. Some are finished off with turban and head-jewelry.

Ethnic inspired footwear.

Lagerfield may have looked overseas for inspiration but Chanel trademark were also very much visible with pearls and tweeds.

British Model of the Year Stella Tennant closed the show with Lagerfield.

The Metier’s D’ Art Show was launched in 2003 in homage to the label’s workshop. If you are an avid follower of  Chanel (like most dame I know), don’t forget to check out their latest perfume here.
