Our travel membership with Interval International allows us a free week stay in Florida, US of A. Perhaps when we have saved enough for plane tickets, we might just consider applying for a US tourist visa.
Whenever I think of Florida holidays, I always think of bright sunny days. After all, it is dubbed as the Sunshine State and most of the things that you could do there revolve around having fun in the sun. Oh I bet my boys will love it!
Let’s start with roaming around theme parks. Theme parks are a big hit – especially for those who would go on family holidays. In Florida, you can check out Disneyland (it would be nice to compare it with Disneyland Paris), Universal Studios, and Sea World. They also have Everglades National Park where you can spot crocodiles.
Aside from the many parks, another fun-under-the-sun idea that one should explore is resort-hoping. There are plenty of mini resorts along Lake Buena Vista, International Drive in Orlando, and Kissimmee. If you prefer golden beaches, then head a bit west and explore Tampa and St. Petersburg. For the ultimate explorer, Florida offers something that won’t bore you – diving. You can find plenty of diving spots in Keys as it has been touted to give atmosphere akin to the Caribbean.
Now if your idea of a perfect holiday includes some bar hopping and spoiling your taste buds, then Florida won’t fail you. The place has tons of good restaurants and bars in its northern business district.
There are plenty of things that you can do when you go on Florida holidays. You just have to plan everything carefully so you can make the most of it.
