I’ve been saving up for one of these. I am only waiting for dear Hubby to get one free weekend. But poor baby, he is soo very busy with work that it is even impossible to converse with him on weekends without being interrupted by a phone call. They are currently undermanned so he ends up doing so much work while waiting for the right people to be hired.
Anyway, for those who have been following my blogs, you know how I love hotel staycation. Our holiday to Italy opened this new hobby for me – for us. By the time we were in France, Marriott had hard rime convincing us to join their prestigious Vacation Club. We were shown so many hotel interiors and swimming pools marketed to us as luxury but we pretty much have our own idea of how luxury looks like by Dubai standards. We smiled and nodded until they just served us cappuccino as they saw we were not thoroughly impressed.
Anyway, here are the remaining UAE hotels on my wishlist:
1. Hyatt Capital Gate, Abu Dhabi home to the world’s most leaning tower.
2. Burj Al Arab, Dubai
3. Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa
4. Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa (but currently kids under 12 are not allowed so this is quiet impossible)
5. Banyan Tree Al Wadi in Ras Al Khaimah
Here’s a video showing the world’s first Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa. A second Armani hotel is now open in Milan.
