On our last day in Manila, Hubby’s sister treated us to hotel stay and whole day of dining. We were given a family room at Dusit Thani Manila, chosen for its proximity to the international airport. Then we had dinner at Sizzlin’ Pepper Steak in Glorietta and lunch the next day at Yakimix in Greenbelt. I will share all the foodies later on but for now, here’s a sneak peak of Dusit Thani’s deluxe room:
Simple, clean, and no frills yet comfortable. The plush seating area reminds me of elegant church chairs .
The 5-star hotel needs to be refurbished in two years time at the very least. Though it is full bath, and the hot & cold water is reliable, there’s no bidet or sprinkle – which I think is a standard nowadays even for three star hotels.
The Koi pond overlooking our hotel window. It’s a great view in the heart of polluted Manila. Dusit Thani also offers an outdoor swimming pool but since it was a rainy day and Little C seemed to be perfectly content jumping up and down the bed, we skipped using the facility.
We had a wonderful stay. The staff were polite and friendly. The hotel location is very ideal as we walked everywhere drinking the best sights Makati has to offer.
