Steal That Denim Style

Magazines are often full of tips on how to look like your favourite celebrity on the red carpet when they are wearing their designer dresses, though I am always more envious when celebs are looking trendy in more simple looks! Denim is classic and timeless but it can be worn wrong. So, here are some of my style steals from two of my favourite celebs in denim.

Cameron Diaz has been on our screens for years now, she has a naturally athletic frame that you can’t help but be a bit envious of and she really knows how to dress to suit her shape. She always looks great on the red carpet and mixes her designers up. Her long legs suit skinny jeans down to the ground and she takes advantage of this and is often papped wearing skinny jeans and a variety of causal tops. Designers that Cameron has been seen in include: 7 for all mankind, Current Elliot, Elizabeth and James, J Brand and James Jeans. These designers all create amazing, well-fitted and stylish jeans in classic denim, prints, bold and pastel colours. Cameron wears classic denim blue jeans with white, black and bold coloured tops often with blazers and heels to make the look more elegant. She is also a fan of the boyfriend shorts which is a great look this season and works well with a bold coloured top and heels.

Katie Holmes is another one of my style icons who knows how to wear her denim. She is another fan of J Brand Jeans, Hudson and Current Elliot and has been seen teaming the skinny jeans with tops by LnA. Her tall frame flatters a skinny leg jeans and she often pairs them with flats on days off and heels when out and about. She looked stunning stepping out in dark denim Hudson jeans, simple white top and nude heels. Katie loves staying on trend and has successfully paired neon orange crops with a light denim shirt.  Whilst out and about with husband Tom Cruise she looked super stylish in ripped J Brand jeans and floaty white LnA tops – proving that often simplicity is best.
