Family is off to Europe again for a one-week autumn holiday. We received our tourist visa to France yesterday and that gives me barely two weeks to prepare. Ooh I have so much things to attend to. I need to buy holiday wardrobe for the boys, book museum tickets, look online for private taxi, confirm hotel reservations, etc..
In an hour, I will be off to the nearest shopping mall to look for boots, coat and weather-proof jacket for the boys. Hubby also insisted we buy one of those water-proof luggage just to be sure our things remain dry so I will check that out as well. As for my autumn holiday wardrobe, I decided to shop online for women’s sweaters. I share with you my choices from DownEast Basics in case you are also looking to travel or to update your closet without breaking the bank.
My first pick is this Drama Cardigan – made of lacy sweater knit. The color perfectly pops for autumn – dark, burnt orange. I’ll pair it with a pretty camisole, skinny jeans, and suede sporty boots. I will be comfortable running around after my son in Euro Disneyland without compromising style.
I also bought a delicate lace camisole but in dark color to soften the look when I wear my black leather bomber jacket. I kind of like the leather and lace combination. Fierce, don’t you think?
And for my last purchase, I bought this versatile Best Vest Cardigan. I like the soft gray color and I think that it is something that I can wear all-year round. I can wear it over tank-top and shorts on warmer season or pair it with cropped pants and half-sleeve shirts during cooler months.
How about you? What are your fall/winter buys?
