Tuesday Travels: Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi

This month’s theme is all about our travel photos, people we met, and food we ate along our journey.

For this week, I will take you back to the ‘it’ place this month of November – the Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi (formerly known as The Yas Hotel). We stayed here last April during our 5th wedding anniversary. The spotlight is on Yas Viceroy because it spans the Yas Marina Circuit which hosts the annual Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This year, F1 race takes place on November 13.

The futuristic hotel is all white on day time and changes LED lights at night. The green pavement on the left side is part of the Yas Marina Circuit.

Our room with a balcony overlooking the F1 race track. During our stay, we were treated to some Corvette drag race. It is every petrol-head’s dream come true.

With Little C enjoying one of the rooftop pool.
