The House of Valentino celebrated the Venice Film Festival 2012 hosting a party at Hotel Cipriani, launching the Venice limited edition eyewear, in partnership with W Magazine.
Designed by creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, the three-piece limited edition lineup is inspired by movie divas of the past. As such, vintage glamour is the aesthetic that heavily resonates from each design.
Besides being a throwback to the glitzy life of a Hollywood superstar, the design reeks with absolute femininity. Each of the free round-style glasses, arriving in fuchsia, powder and apple green, are embellished with colored Swarovski crystals. A true find for women with a penchant for high-octane glamour, we’re already setting our sights on the fuchsia pair. Adding to the hype is the fact that only 300 pairs of these sunglasses will be produced. Although no details were further revealed, we’re assuming a hundred pairs for each color will be made available.
The two creative directors of the brand, together with W Editor in Chief Stefano Tonchi welcomes the 200 guests among socialites, international press and celebrities for a cocktail at the prestigious location in Venice, Italy.
