Visit Beautiful Bangkok

Bangkok is a city rich in culture and customs. It means the “island” and is one of the most populated cities in Thailand. Bangkok has a tropical climate, which means it can get very hot in the summer months but if you like lots of sunshine then this is the place for you.

Bangkok has over 50 districts, all having something different to offer. This city is home to large parks and a large forest between “Yannawa” and “Samut Prakan”. There is lots of rivers and canals in Bangkok, which is great if you want to spend the day at the river sunbathing.

This city is considered to be one of the world’s most famous tourist places to visit. There are many festivals and events that take place here, including the “Bangkok Songkran Festival”, that takes place around the 13th – 15th April. There is also the Queen’s Birthday celebration that takes place on the 12th August. This is to pay respect to the Queen and many Thai people decorate their houses and buildings around the city.

If you want to go and see some art, then Bangkok is home to the “National Gallery of Thailand”, which is one of Thailand’s biggest collections. There are also a lot of shopping areas, such as the “Phloen Chit-Ratchaprasong” and the “Silom-Surawong-Patpong” which are great shopping malls if you want to get some great bargains and also some nice gifts for people back home. Take a stroll by the Grand Palace which has been home to Thailand’s monarchy for hundreds of years. You will find a lot of Buddhist temples around the city, which all are peaceful places to visit. There are many theatres in Bangkok too, so if you want to see a show in the evening then this is a great place to go to.
